It's impossible to get these 4 looking at the camera and not pulling a face at the same time.
Notice Hayden's pants? They had a hole in the knee...so he went for broke and ripped them all the way to the waist band. I had to replace his pants this week...and learned no one carries sweatpants in February. It seems the world needs swim trunks.
Ah...retail...

My boys always end up ripping their pants up to the waste once the knee holes get too large and tempting.
Retail schedules drive me crazy! God forbid on of my sons rips his winter jacket irrepairably in January - there are absolutely unavailable but as you mentioned - board shorts are readily available. That just makes me fume.
To answer your questions from my blog, hermit crabs are practically silent - at least ours are. There is a little squeaking when their shells rub against the glass and they've chirped once or twice but otherwise nothing. We don't do painted shells, so tacky, but the natural shells we have are so pretty - shiny, mother of pearl or tortoise shell patterned. I really like them.
The dog doesn't seem to care about them at all as he's accustomed to aquariums with fish. If the boys have the crabs out to play with they attach the dogs leash to the sliding glass door in another room or put him in his crate with a kong. I bet the crabs would be mighty tasty to our dog. LOL.
Your boys are growing so fast as is Gracie. I can hardly believe it.
